Owner of Influential House Recordings and new digital offshoot Endemic Digital, Scott Harrington has been involved within the house music scene since the early nineties and with his (OCD) knowledge of the dance music scene overall, some would say from the very beginning! At 33 Scott has been involved with some fantastic projects and has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the finest DJ's and producers in the business, including Jose Nunez, Terry Farley, Rocky, Colin Dale, Onionz, ATFC, Eddie Richards, Milton Jackson, JT Donaldson and has played for the likes of Smartie Partie, The Gallery, Toolroom Knights, Defected in the House, Kinky Malinki, Housexy and the almighty Subliminal Sessions. Not forgetting his local roots, which lay in Southend on Sea, Essex, Scott has also been resident DJ for the likes of local promotions Groovilicious, Holla, Stereo and Push:Fwd and has guested regularly for the likes of Hear No Evil, Funkissential, Funk-U, Glow, Substance and the legendary Audio Chic and Stripped. With a wide spectrum of influences, from Larry Heard and Derrick Carter to Erick Morillo, Mark Knight, ATFC, right through to Kevin Yost, MAW and Todd Terry, Scott's style is described as energy driven house music with the odd classic and familiarity thrown in for good measures...."at the end of the day, its just House music to me, I love it in all its forms. I see it as a way of bringing people together for a good time, which a lot of todays DJ's forget. It should make you AND your crowd smile, scream and holla!" he adds.
